Ideally you gained an insight in the following scope of duties by internship:

UNIX und network systems
Relational database systems and SQL
Client/Server architecture
Object oriented programming languages: Java, C++, Smalltalk, Delphi
Object oriented analysis and modern design methods like MDA etc.
Object oriented application developement system: J2EE, JEE, Spring, .NET etc.

Furthermore you bring along team and customer orientation, engagement and flexibility. References in the semiconductor industry or business software development are advantageous.
